Heather Fry

As the Director of Industry Training for Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), Heather Fry helps lead the team advancing TAT’s mission, through its core program, across multiple sectors of the transportation industry throughout North America. This includes working with organizations that operate over the road, locally and in the in-home delivery space, as well as with organizations within the shipping and manufacturing industries. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor of science degree in special education, Fry is a passionate fighter for marginalized populations. Prior to coming to TAT, she founded a nonprofit that provided wrap-around care for foster and adoptive families.

Every day along our highways and in our communities, people are forced to sell sex as victims of human trafficking at truck stops, rest areas, hotels/motels, in and around local businesses and homes in our communities and other locations. Every day, members of the transportation industry are in these same places and able to make a difference. Tips from truck drivers alone have helped to identify countless victims of trafficking, thanks to knowing the signs. TAT is raising up a mobile army that is able to recognize and report trafficking, leading to the recovery of victims and arrest of perpetrators. Learn how you can empower employees to effect change and aid in the disruption of human trafficking networks across North America. Join Heather Fry, director of Industry Training with TAT (Truckers Against Trafficking), to learn how your company can get involved in this effort and become a changemaker in this fight.
